Cinnamon Honey Protein Pumpkin Seeds Recipe
Pumpkin Seeds
Honey or Maple Syrup
Cinnamon
Protein Powder – we have used Naked Harvest’s Vanilla Pancake Batter (we have linked our favourite protein brands below)
Method
Add Pumpkin Seeds and Protein powder into a bowl and mix together.
Mix in the amount of cinnamon you like. I don’t use a lot just enough for a hint of cinnamon flavour.
Next I mix in the honey or maple syrup. Today I have using maple syrup. Mix it all together making sure all the pumpkin seeds are covered.
Layer none stick paper of a baking tray and pour over the pumpkin seed mix. Try to spread the seeds out. They may group together which is ok.
Place in an oven set to 180 degrees. Bake for 10mins – this might be longer or shorter depending on your oven.
Remove from oven and let cool. Once cool break up the pumpkin seeds.
