Prawn Pasta – Buttery, Simple and Quick

Prawn Pasta Recipe

Prawns are my favorite food, so whenever I can I will always try and make a yummy dish with them. This is how my simple prawn pasta was born. I didn’t want to spend over $50 on having some delivered to my house so I figured I would create my own simple prawn pasta. The best thing with this recipe is that if you want, you can use a different type of meat or you could add some extra vegetables. Check out our prawn pasta recipe below.

Simple Prawn Pasta

  • 20 Prawns (Fresh or Frozen)
  • 1/2 Packets Pasta – we used angel haired spaghetti
  • 150grams Butter
  • 1/2 Minced Garlic Clove
  • Generous Sprinkle of Nutmeg
  • 1/4 Cup Grated Parmesan

Method

  1. Cook the pasta first as it will take the longest. Boil the water and add a little salt. Add the pasta and cook to your liking. Strain and set aside.
  2. Cook your prawn in a pan. Once your prawns are cooked set aside.
  3. In the same pan you cooked the prawns in melt your butter and garlic.
  4. Add in the pasta and prawns and mix till everything is coated in the butter garlic sauce.
  5. Sprinkle in the nutmeg. I add the amount to what taste I like.
  6. Serve the prawn pasta in either a large serving dish or you can seperate it into bowls for your guests.
  7. Sprinkle the grated parmesan on top and enjoy.
